PIANO 2013 : Laureate
Tatiana Chernichka began her studies at the Novosibirsk Conservatory, under Mary Lebenson. She went on to further studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, under Elisso Virsaladze, and at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, under Klaus Kaufmann. In 2005, she won the 2nd Prize at the Premio Jaén International Piano Competition (Spain) and in 2011, the 3rd Prize at the Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano (Italy). She has taken part in various international festivals, including the Braunschweiger Kammermusikpodium (Germany), Armonie sotto la Rocca (Italy), and Musikal Kremlin (Moscow). She has performed with the New Russia State Symphony Orchestra (Moscow), the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra (Poland), the Mozarteumorchester (Salzburg), and the Israel Symphony Orchestra. Tatiana Chernichka is also an active chamber musician : she has won several chamber music competitions and performs with Wen-Sinn Yang, Suren Bagratuni, Manuel Druminski, Heidi Schmid and Indrek Leivategija.
