Keigo Mukawa

Keigo Mukawa werd geboren in Aichi (Japan) en studeerde piano bij Frank Braley, Haruko Ueda, Theodore Paraskivesco, Susumu Aoyagi en Yukio Yokoyama. In 2012, na zijn studie aan de University of the Arts in Tokio, behaalde hij de Eerste prijs op de Japan Music Competition. Vervolgens studeerde hij aan het Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. Keigo Mukawa is ook laureaat van de internationale pianowedstrijden van Épinal en van Île-de-France. In 2016 won hij de Eerste Prijs op de Coop Music Awards te Cremona (Italië) en in 2019 sleepte hij de Tweede prijs van het Concours Long Thibaud Crespin in de wacht. In 2017 werd hij in het kader van de Chanel Pygmalion Days in Tokio geselecteerd voor zes recitals tijdens dewelke hij het volledige pianowerk van Maurice Ravel vertolkte. Hij trad op met de belangrijkste orkesten van Tokio, alsook met het Orchestre National de Lorraine en gaf al recitals in Frankrijk, Zwitserland, Letland, China en Japan.
