Nikola Diskic begon zijn opleiding aan de Stankovic Muziekschool van zijn geboortestad en vervolgde vanaf 2007 zijn studies zang aan de Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst van Mannheim bij Snežana Stamenkovic. Hij vervolmaakte zich bij Biserka Cvejic in Belgrado, Rudolf Piernay in Londen (Guildhall School) en Philip Kang in Seoel (Nationale Universiteit). Sinds 2009 heeft hij deelgenomen aan verschillende operaproducties in het Nationaal Theater van Mannheim: Ariadne auf Naxos (een lakei), Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Fiorello, onder leiding van Alois Seidelmeyer), Carmen (Morales) en Lohengrin (heraut), beide onder leiding van Dan Ettinger. Van 2005 tot 2007 behaalde hij verschillende prijzen op nationale en internationale muziekwedstrijden in zijn land van herkomst.
