Yuki Yoshimi studeerde af aan de Toho Gakuen School of Music, waar hij les kreeg van Hisako Ueno en Kei Itoh. Daarna trok hij naar het New England Conservatory of Music om zich te vervolmaken bij Alexander Korsantia. Hij won de Eerste Prijs op de 86e Music Competition of Japan en werd daarmee op 17-jarige leeftijd de jongste winnaar. Twee jaar later won hij een Zilveren Medaille op de Manhattan Competition. Nadat hij halvefinalist was bij de Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd in 2021, werd hij ook halve finalist in 2023 bij de Naumburg Competition en in 2024 bij de Gina Bachauer Competition. Hij heeft recitals gegeven in heel Japan, waaronder in de Oji Hall in 2024, Kyoto Concert Hall en Hamarikyu Asahi Hall in 2023, en Toppan Hall in 2019. Als Chanel Pygmalion Days Artist trad hij in 2019 zes keer solo op in de Nexus Hall. Hij heeft samengewerkt met talrijke Japanse orkesten, waaronder het Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, het Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, de New Japan Philharmonic, het Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, het Tacticart Orchestra en het Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
